Vultures in the Media, Past is past
I really hate reading the news these days. Everything makes me angry.
All the injustice. Discrimination. Abuse of Power. So many people with a voice and the power to do good, completely waste it and take advantage of it.
Pepsi attempted to commercialize and trivialize the Black Lives Matter movement and other protests across the country. Completely shameful and inappropriate.
Then United airlines decided to drag an Asian man off the plane because he wouldn't volunteer to give up his seat. I was angry at United, angry at the Chicago Police. But I am beyond angry and ashamed of the media. This man was humiliated, dragged and pained by a multibillion dollar entity. Was it necessary to kick him further down the hole and air out his dirty laundry? What does his past have to do with the injustice he experienced? Why would you humiliate someone who's probably already hit their ultimate low? No law suit or apology with be able to fix the damage that's already been done. I don't know David Dao, but I'm sorry.
What people in the media will do for a viral article, it makes me sick to my stomach. This is not the news.
